Recreation Aide

Recreation Aide Join our team at Oyster Bay Manor/Harbor House, a serene and compassionate assisted living facility in Oyster Bay, New York, where every resident is treated like family. We're looking for a Recreation Aide with a "Yes, I can" attitude to help enrich the lives of our senior residents through engaging activities. Key Responsibilities: Plan and organize engaging activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents Implement and oversee recreational programs and services that enhance residents' quality of life Adapt and adjust activities based on resident feedback and needs Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in recreation or related fields a plus Skills: Proficiency in one or more areas, such as art, music, dance, trivia, games, exercise, movies, literature, or poetry Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to connect with residents of diverse backgrounds Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and lead activities for large groups, small groups, and one-on-one sessions Skills: Clear communication and enthusiasm to motivate residents to participate actively

MUST BE VACCINATED

Education: High School Diploma (minimum requirement) Benefits: Competitive hourly rate: $18-$20/hour This is a Full Time in person position.
