General Position Summary Produce sales gains by providing customer service. Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics. Document and provide appraisal of associate sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and opportunities aligned with company objectives. Adhere to visual guidelines, including merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the dress code policy. Principle Duties And Responsibilities Generate Sales – produce sales gains by providing customer service, meet or exceed company objectives, provide appraisal, adhere to visual guidelines, maintain professionalism. Control Expenses Protect company assets within LIDS Retail policies. Assist in preparing store schedules that provide proper coverage while staying within wage control guidelines. Follow all inventory policies, including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts. Perform proper documentation and record‑keeping per LIDS Retail policies and state/federal laws. Open and close the store as required following the Operations P&P Manual. Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Additional Principal Duties And Responsibilities Participate in LIDS training programs, adhere to set goals (sales and tasks) and regular follow‑up. Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on store operations and procedures. Encourage store associates’ compliance with established company policies, procedures and guidelines including safekeeping of inventory, funds and property. Perform work of subordinates as needed. Communicate with employees at all levels. Other duties as assigned. Job Required Knowledge & Skills High school diploma or equivalent plus one year relative experience. Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner. Ability to operate a computer and relevant software programs. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead. Standing required for up to 100% of the work time. Ability to work unsupervised. Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Mangers PT are also available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount. Reports To Store Manager Compensation and Benefits For Hawaii-based roles: Annual pay ranges may fall between $29,120 - $58,656. You may also be offered a bonus, and other benefits.
