Position Overview Senior Associate, M&A and Performance Improvement – Sports, Media, and Entertainment. This role is within A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice and focuses on upper middle‑market and large‑cap private equity firms. The Senior Associate will support private equity and corporate clients through complex transactions, including due diligence, integration, carve‑out, and performance‑improvement programs that drive sustainable value creation. Services & Expertise Operational Due Diligence Synergy Assessment Standalone Cost Assessment Target Operating Model Development Day‑1 and 100‑Milestone Planning Transition Services Agreements (TSAs) Performance Improvement Project Management and Governance Key Responsibilities Identify client business issues and deliver service excellence through rigorous analysis and innovative solutions. Oversee workstreams, own key deliverables, and coordinate cross‑functional collaboration. Develop advanced financial models, analyze large data sets, and present findings to senior stakeholders. Maintain executive‑ready client deliverables such as synergy and performance‑improvement models, separation costs, and integration trackers. Provide informal leadership, coach team members, and ensure consistent messaging and alignment. Qualifications 4–6+ years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development. Demonstrated M&A experience, preferably in Sports, Media, and Entertainment. Experience in integration or separation planning and execution is a plus. MBA preferred. Eager to learn core operations of SM&E. Initiative, critical thinking, and strong communication skills. Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time. Benefits Summary Salary range: $100,000 – $170,000 annually, depending on education, experience, and geography. A discretionary bonus program is available.
