About the Position
AlliedTravelCareers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Grass Valley, California, 95945!
- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training
- Help patients improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Document patient treatments and progress accurately and timely
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
- Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment

Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active PTA CA license
- Certification (if required by state)
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred (SNFexperience a plus)
- Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA Preferred
