PhlebotomistHealth Advocates Network is currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work at a facility in Albuquerque, NM. These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate: $32.50 / hour Shift Details: Days - (40 hrs) Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Mon, Wed, Fri 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.Minimum Qualifications:At least one year (12 months) of experience in PhlebotomyMust have up to date credentials in the state of NMA valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)Ability to build rapport with patientsCompassionate and caring demeanorFamiliarity with medical terminologyJob Responsibilities (not limited to):Collect and store blood samples from patientsDistribute samples to designated departmentsMonitor storage and inventory of suppliesMaintain clean and healthy work environmentAdhere to laboratory safety policies and proceduresPractice proper patient identificationLabel vials with patient names and datesDecipher the best method for drawing blood depending on the specific patientExpect to work with many patients varying in age and health statusBe friendly, courteous and sympathetic when it comes to working with patientsKeep your phlebotomy cart or station well-organizedPractice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipmentIf interested, please apply through this job post.
