Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Restaurant in Boston, MA. Schedule Sun 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Option for More Shifts). Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour. Paid orientation and training. How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): Hired for a designated site and weekly shift serving as reliable base schedule. Requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick‑up extra shifts through scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance‑related issues. Monitor for theft‑related behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access to deter loss and support a professional environment for guests and employees. Assist with crowd management, closing procedures, and/or after‑hours checks as directed, maintaining visible presence and following Allied Universal standards. Minimum Requirements Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
