Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Artist to join our production team. This role is responsible for editing, preparing, and finalizing customer artwork for screen printing production. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, has excellent attention to detail, and can thrive in a fast-paced production environment while meeting tight deadlines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Edit and prepare customer artwork for screen printing production.
• Ensure artwork meets production specifications and quality standards.
• Modify existing designs and make file corrections as needed.
• Create production-ready files using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Review artwork for accuracy, color consistency, sizing, and print readiness.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and production teams to ensure artwork meets customer expectations.
• Maintain organized digital files and artwork archives.
• Prioritize multiple projects while meeting production deadlines.
• Follow established production processes and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Previous experience in screen printing, apparel decoration, or production artwork preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of vector artwork and file preparation.
• Knowledge of print production processes and artwork specifications.
• Ability to identify and correct artwork issues before production.
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer.
• Ability to use standard office equipment and computer software for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
