An international plant-based manufacturing company is seeking a second-shift Production Lead who will help the production manager.
- $25/hr. Plus full benefits
- 2 nd shift
Monday – Thursday and Sunday 01:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Training during the first 30 days will take place Monday–Friday
- Somerset, NJ
Requirements of the Production Lead 2 nd shift:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of manufacturing experience (food manufacturing preferred)
- OSHA 10 certification
- Experience using an ERP system (NetSuite or SAP is a plus)
- Familiar with production equipment and manufacturing processes
- Forklift experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP and SQF
- Spanish bilingual preferred (not required)
Responsibilities of the Production Lead 2 nd shift:
- Assist the Production Manager and report production issues
- Oversee daily production activities and employees
- Ensure safety and food safety procedures are followed
- Enter and maintain production data in NetSuite and other systems
- Supervise Production Leaders and support employee training
- Monitor production output, losses, and cleanliness
- Start up and shut down production lines
- Ensure production schedules are completed to meet customer orders
