Mid-Level Patent Prosecution Associate - AI and Software Technologies

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level patent prosecution associate to join their team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have a background in AI and software technologies, with a focus on patent prosecution. Duties Draft and prosecute patent applications related to AI and software technologies. Collaborate with clients to understand their technological innovations. Conduct patentability and freedom‑to‑operate analyses. Provide strategic advice on patent portfolio development. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of law firm experience in patent prosecution. Experience with AI, machine learning, cloud computing, image processing, and autonomous vehicles. Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. Education Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Certifications USPTO registration required. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
