Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an experienced senior level Electrical Engineer to support power distribution engineering projects. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong technical background who can independently manage engineering responsibilities and oversee small to mid-sized projects.

Responsibilities

Design and support electrical power distribution systems for utility, industrial, and related projects

Lead engineering activities from planning and design through project execution

Manage smaller to mid-sized projects, including schedules, deliverables, and technical coordination

Perform electrical calculations, review drawings, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards

Coordinate with project teams, clients, and other engineering disciplines

Support electrical system studies, including arc flash analysis, as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of electrical engineering experience

Strong background in electrical power distribution systems

Experience with utility, industrial, or similar electrical infrastructure projects

Ability to independently lead technical work and manage projects

Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred

Arc flash analysis experience is a significant plus

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
