Senior Project Manager

HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical Construction

Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Job Type: Full-Time

Keystone Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC, mechanical, and electrical construction projects from startup through closeout. This role is responsible for project financial performance, scheduling, field coordination, customer relationships, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial construction projects from turnover through closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, job costs, schedules, procurement, and cost-to-complete forecasting.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, estimates, and project requirements.
• Manage change orders, billing information, Schedule of Values, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
• Monitor labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and overall project profitability.
• Participate in Work in Progress (WIP) and job-cost reviews.
• Proactively identify and resolve scheduling, financial, contractual, and field issues.
• Mentor and support Project Managers and project team members.
• Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, as-builts, and required documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience with significant project-management responsibility.
• HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or specialty contracting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of job costing, construction billing, change orders, procurement, and project forecasting.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and field teams.

Salary Range: $105,000–$115,000 annually
