Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments based on physician orders
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments as necessary
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience in respiratory care settings
