Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings, constructing personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy techniques focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall daily function
• Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehab professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge protocols, and at-home exercise regimens
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Take part in interdisciplinary conferences and care team rounds to ensure seamless coordination of care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is highly recommended
• Any specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) will be advantageous but are not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is highly valued
