Required Skills:

• Valid New York State RN license
• Current BLS certification with ability to recertify
• Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care hospital setting of similar size or trauma level
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• No history of license suspension, investigation, or professional liability claims
• Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check
• Verification of legal right to work in the U.S.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous utilization review or case management experience
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance and documentation standards
• Additional certifications in healthcare management or related fields

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
• At least 2 years of recent acute care RN experience, especially in hospital or trauma center environments

Other Requirements:

• This position is on a day shift with 8-hour shifts
• Travel consideration only for those experienced in hospital settings of equal or greater size or trauma centers
• Ability to adapt to electronic medical record systems and multi-disciplinary collaboration
