Member Team Lead

Position Summary Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility. Duties include assigning tasks, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing guidance on member service approaches. Supports the Open Door Policy, participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicates and supports membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective members. Processes memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, encourages renewals, and participates in sales and marketing events. Maintains marketing documentation and strives to meet membership goals. Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, facilitating self‑service technology, handling transactions, and ensuring club pick‑up orders are filled. Oversees assigned area of responsibility by handling claims, returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness. Assists members with transport using equipment per company policies. Maintains accounting records, files transactions, and provides funds for register operation. Creates and interprets financial analysis reports and assists with accounting investigations. Prepares daily deposits, oversees cash fund transfers, investigates overages and shortages, and maintains confidentiality and accuracy of financial information. Develops and implements processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners. Analyzes information, monitors progress, identifies improvement opportunities, and supports compliance with company policies and ethical standards. Leads and participates in teams, provides advice, feedback, and support to meet timelines and quality goals. Promotes respect, integrity, and customer focus throughout all activities. Minimum Qualifications 6 months retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register), and 6 months customer service experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading a front‑end team and supervising, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workforce. The actual rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
