Job Description
The Event Security Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of attendees at various events. As part of a dedicated security team, this position involves managing access control, monitoring crowds, and responding swiftly to emergencies or conflicts. The officer also provides assistance to customers and helps maintain a secure perimeter to facilitate a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Responsibilities
- Manage access control points to verify credentials and prevent unauthorized entry
- Monitor crowds to identify potential safety hazards or disturbances
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and incidents
- Manage conflicts to de-escalate and resolve situations peacefully
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide directions or information
- Maintain perimeter security to safeguard event boundaries
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in security services
- High school diploma or equivalent
