Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Dispatch Communications Coordinator in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and provide timely support to personnel and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $27.03 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Dispatch security-related personnel to routine service requests, alarms, incidents, and critical situations; maintain clear communication with responding staff and site contacts. Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, alarm notifications, and electronic systems; document activity accurately in dispatch logs and incident reports. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating notifications according to established site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and facility issues to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Possess an armed guard card or license. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
