Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care in the Emergency Department. Candidates must possess pediatric experience, current certifications, and float capability to adapt to a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival in the emergency setting.
• Administer treatments and interventions aligned with clinical protocols, including pediatric and adult care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Monitor and utilize specialized equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun to support patient treatment.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and institutional policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY RN license and all relevant state licenses with verification via NURSYS.
• Possess 2+ years of recent ER experience, including pediatric exposure.
• Maintain current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Be able to provide documentation of recent travel experience in the ER.
• Possess a valid driver's license matching current address, with proof of demographics.
