What you’ll do Responsibilities: Quality and Safety Assurance: Prioritize and promote a strong safety culture on all project sites. Ensure compliance with all company, health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement and enforce strict quality control measures as set forth in the project execution plan to ensure project deliverables meet high standards. Project Planning and Execution: Assist support operations in developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Oversee and manage successful delivery of telecommunications construction projects, including site surveys, design review, permitting, scheduling, material procurement, civil works, fiber optic installation, and equipment commissioning. Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and applicable codes and standards. Report project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and in conjunction with operations, implement corrective actions as needed. Team Leadership and Management: Lead and supervise project teams in execution of the project plan. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to project team members. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Conduct regular checks of progressive redlines and project documentations to monitor progress, ensure quality. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Approve invoices and manage payment schedules for subcontractors and vendors. Identify and suggest opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Communicate project updates, progress, and potential issues effectively to all relevant parties. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and close-out documents. Prepare and present regular project status reports to PMO and leadership. Other duties as assigned.
