Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Plaintiff Litigation Attorney to support the growth and development of our expanding plaintiff-side practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with strong litigation, case strategy, and operational experience who is excited to help build and scale a mass torts department within a fast-paced and growing law firm environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage mass tort and complex plaintiff-side litigation matters from intake through resolution
• Review and evaluate potential mass tort claims and supporting medical documentation
• Develop case strategy and assist with settlement evaluation and negotiations
• Work closely with leadership on department structure, workflows, and growth initiatives
• Coordinate with co-counsel, vendors, experts, and national litigation partners as needed
• Supervise and support case staff, including Case Managers and support personnel
• Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and case progression throughout all stages of litigation
• Assist in evaluating and developing emerging mass tort and complex litigation opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Active California Bar license in good standing
• 3+ years of plaintiff-side mass torts and/or complex personal injury litigation experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of mass tort workflows, settlement processes, and client management
• Experience reviewing medical records and damages documentation
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Experience with wildfire litigation, institutional abuse, elder abuse, labor and employment matters, funeral home negligence, or catastrophic injury litigation is a plus.
• Demonstrated involvement in high-exposure or large-scale litigation matters preferred.
• Candidates should be prepared to discuss substantive case involvement, litigation strategy, leadership responsibilities, and representative matters handled throughout their career.

Preferred:

• Experience helping build or scale a department/processes
• Existing relationships within the plaintiff-side litigation community
• Experience with high-volume case management systems such as Filevine
• Experience with handling Eaton Fire cases
