Obstetrician & Gynecologist Call Coverage

We are looking for an Obstetrician & Gynecologist to provide call coverage. Providers should be comfortable with all OB/Gyn procedures.

Schedule/Availability Requirements: Jan 27 start date

Services provided on OB/GYN on a 24/7 basis for two weekends per month Friday 8am Monday 8a for Call Coverage.

Setting: L&D, PP, GYN Emergency/ORs

Duties: Covering Ob-Gyn Call for three facilities including consults, delivery, rounding (including rounds with fellows), minor/major gynecologic surgeries. Will include covering a practice as well as unassigned Ob-Gyn call. Individual will back up CNMs and Family Medicine w/ OB providers.

Days per month: Average 6

EMR: EPIC

Support Staff: N/A L&D and OR Nursing; will work with CNMs (backing up CNMs and being on standby for labor or nearby for recommendations on labor progression)

Deal breakers: Has not performed 20+ deliveries in the last year.

Credentialing Information: Timeframe: Usually 3 weeks

Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility: Admissions per day, Patients/day, Types of cases, Disclosures that may need to be made, etc. Can vary based on day.

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified ABOG - Required
• IA license and NE license - highly preferred - will accept IMLC (please note at time of name clear)
• Clean background/no malpractice - highly preferred
• Availability at time of name clear - Required
• Ob-Gyn Residency - Required
