ComResource is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and hands-on expertise using the latest open-source products and best practices
- Build automated test frameworks and lead data testing efforts for multi-functional Agile data delivery teams
- Build test automation frameworks
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Java and Python data APIs
- Develop and execute test plans for data movement using Kafka and big data tools and solutions
- Develop test scripts to implement Features, Test Scenarios, and Step-Definitions for Behavior-Driven Development using Cucumber (Gherkin format) with customized test automation frameworks
- Develop Selenium automation frameworks using JUnit/TestNG frameworks and develop Maven targets to execute automation suites
- Configure execution of automated regression suites using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
- Provide technical direction and hands-on software development to include design, development, and testing
- Mentor team members on automation testing best practices
Essentials:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Scrum and Kanban Agile development processes and ceremonies, including scrums, planning events, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and demos
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Experience with Java and JavaScript-based technologies such as Node.js and Angular.js
- Experience with automation technologies such as Jenkins, Maven, and JUnit
- Proficiency in using Selenium tool for web application automation and automating regression test cases (Selenium WebDriver/GRID)
- Experience with automation testing frameworks including XML/SOAP UI and WebServices testing
- Knowledge and certification in programming languages for automation testing such as Python, Java, and C++
- Experience developing Behavior-Driven Development test scripts using Gherkin format
Desired:
- Experience building automated test frameworks
- Additional expertise with Kafka and big data tools
- Advanced proficiency with CI/CD pipeline configuration
