Pediatric Neurologist – Medical Director of Pediatric Neurology Program

Valley Health System, in affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is actively recruiting a Pediatric Neurologist to serve as the Medical Director of the Pediatric Neurology Program.

The Pediatric Neurology Program provides consultation and other professional services as part of the Valley Medical Group and Valley‑Mount Sinai Children's Health Service line in northern New Jersey. The program provides clinical expertise at Valley Hospital and the Kireker Center for Child Development (KCCD), and offers education and consultation for clinicians, clients, and community groups.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in the evaluation and management of children/youth with developmental disabilities
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills for both clinical and non‑clinical audiences, in group settings or one‑on‑one
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to advance and develop a superior clinical service
• Ability to foster a respectful, equitable, and inclusive work environment
• Advocate for organizational values and commitment to gender equity and diversity

Qualifications

• An MD/DO or equivalent degree
• Board certified in Pediatric Neurology
• Existing or eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA, and CDS required
• Maintains CME credit hours as required for Board Certification and/or hospital staff privileges
