Position Summary Position Summary... What you'll do Complies with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying them in executing business processes and practices. Operates a forklift following company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing and positioning merchandise pallets. Completes work assignments and priorities using data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines and expectations; carries out tasks, communicates progress and information, determines and recommends ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapts to learning from change, difficulties and feedback. Receives stocks and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow following company policy and procedures; utilizes equipment appropriately, manages merchandising, addresses inventory exceptions, corrects shelf capacities, and completes and retains required paperwork, logs and other documentation. Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, providing guidance and support on self‑service technology, assisting purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services. Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials safely, following steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation to company standards by zoning the area, stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, maintaining modular integrity, sorting, staging and delivering merchandise, ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise, processing defective merchandise, following sanitation and food‑safety policies, and monitoring shrink, security and safety risks. Ensures club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking those orders, staging products, ensuring proper selection and staging per policy, ensuring Merchandising Associates pick orders within acceptable timeframes, staging properly, and performing occasional accuracy audits. Handles inventory movements, displays goods safely, tracks goods, maintains in‑stock levels, controls shrinkage, reports poor inventory practices and low in‑stock levels, and uses inventory tools and equipment safely. Operates and maintains forklifts safely, reports poor or unsafe conditions, and informs management when forklifts are not in proper working order. Proactively identifies customers who need help, engages them with technology services and items, models and assists with technology, identifies shrink opportunities and problems, takes steps to fix issues, properly maintains equipment, and keeps products organized and stocked. Additional compensation can be paid as premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances; premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, and multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older.
