Advanced X-ray Technician

Our client is seeking an Advanced X-ray Technician in Milwaukee, WI. They specialize in creating metal castings for military and aerospace applications. This company has a strong reputation and is experiencing rapid growth.

Responsibilities:

• Execute radiographic operations such as technique selection and material positioning to identify defects in components
• Process digital radiographic images accurately
• Analyze results to determine pass/fail status based on industry codes and customer requirements
• Review and assess new customer orders for X-ray processing
• Maintain radiographic inspection area and equipment
• Keep detailed records of inspections and processes
• Participate in Nadcap accreditation efforts
• Develop technical and leadership skills in NDT

Requirements:

• Post-High School education in NDT or related field preferred
• Must hold Radiographic Testing Level II (RT Level II) certification
• At least 3 years of experience with castings
• Familiarity with SNT-TC-1A, NAS-410, or MIL-STD-271 standards for NDT
• Experience with DDA protocols or certification a plus
• Strong communication and computer skills
