Biomedical Equipment Support Specialist
Department Of Health And Human Services
Duties
Installs, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates, and tests biomedical equipment.
Performs preventive maintenance to ensure medical equipment is safe, reliable, compliant, and available for patient care.
Manages the biomedical equipment program, including equipment inventories and maintenance records.
Performs equipment evaluations and ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Provides user training and coordinates biomedical equipment services with clinical staff and vendors.
