Job Summary:

The Software Developer role focuses on translating technical system specifications into functional, tested applications. The position requires expertise in software development life cycle activities including programming, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting. The role demands strong skills in Siebel technical configuration, integration, and report development, with additional emphasis on Oracle software development and public sector experience. The developer will work onsite and collaborate with IT professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities:

Translate technical specifications into working software applications.
Develop detailed programming specifications and write/generate code.
Compile data-driven programs, maintain code, and conduct unit tests.
Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during software use.
Provide technical assistance during implementation, conversion, and migrations.
Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the software development life cycle.
Design, code, test, debug, and document applications using structured methodologies.
Conduct design walkthrough sessions with project teams.
Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.
Develop and maintain Siebel configurations, integrations, and workflows.
Develop reports using OBIEE and PowerBI.
Work onsite following standard working hours at the designated office location.

Required Skills:

10+ years of experience in Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and integration.
5+ years of experience integrating Siebel with Adobe AEM, J2EE, and similar technologies.
5+ years of experience with Siebel EIM/EAI.
Experience with Siebel IP18, including configuring and developing.
Proficiency with Siebel Tools, Business Layer objects, Open UI architecture, and approval manager administration.
Experience in OBIEE and PowerBI report development.
Strong programming skills in Oracle database, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripts, and Oracle Data Integrator.
Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
Experience with middleware, gateways, and product installation scripting.
Understanding of Information Management principles and AODA regulations.
Experience with Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).
Experience with UI integration and embedding external applications in Siebel.
Experience with Grants Management and Public Sector CRM modules.

Rated Criteria:

Siebel Development Skills - 40%
Report Development Skills (OBIEE, PowerBI, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript) - 35%
Soft Skills including communication, teamwork, problem solving - 20%
Public Sector Experience - 5%

Total: 100 Points Deliverables:

Developed, tested, and documented software applications.
Siebel configurations, workflows, and integrations.
Reports developed using OBIEE and PowerBI.
Post-implementation support and issue resolution documentation.
Design walkthrough session outputs and user/system documentation.

Must Haves:

10+ years of Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and integration experience.
5+ years of Siebel integration experience with Adobe AEM and J2EE.
5+ years experience with Siebel EIM/EAI.
Experience in OBIEE and PowerBI report development.
Ability to work onsite 7.25 hours per day Monday to Friday within standard working hours.
