Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30–19:00) | Onsite | Weekend and On-Call Availability Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in a high-acuity pediatric surgical environment serving neonates, infants, pediatric, and adolescent patient populations
• Support surgical procedures across Orthopedic and Neurological service lines
• Assist with ultrasound procedures as required within the surgical setting
• Provide inpatient surgical tech coverage including portables, ER, PICU, NICU, and Neonate settings
• Maintain compliance with facility charting standards using EPIC
• Participate in on-call rotation with variable days and times as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State Surgical Technologist License required (candidates without a WA license at time of submission should anticipate a start date 6–8 weeks out for processing)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of applicable surgical technologist experience
• Demonstrated experience with pediatric patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients
• Inpatient surgical tech and scrub experience required
• Experience in Orthopedic and Neurological surgical procedures required; ultrasound procedure experience required
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the standard rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Outpatient surgical experience and prior experience in a Level I Trauma or dedicated children's hospital setting
• Endoscopic and laparoscopic procedure experience
• ENT and robotic surgery experience
• NBSTSA certification preferred; EPIC experience preferred
