Full Stack Engineer

Full Stack EngineerInsight Global is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support an enterprise-wide modernization program within the Analytics & Behavioral Change organization at a large healthcare company. This is a builder role focused on execution, where engineers will work from an established roadmap and independently deliver against assigned development work. The application is currently at the edge of traditional software and big data, and is currently transitioning from Python and SQL to Java, so the ability to flex between these languages is critical. Day to day work will be mainly hands-on coding, sprint planning, and grooming. The team operates in an agile manner working in squads comprised of two data engineers, two full stack engineers, and two captains responsible for gathering and translating requirements. They value go-getter personalities that are inquisitive, motivated and willing to take a high level of ownership.Key Responsibilities:Hands-on coding and solution implementation to build and modernize the applicationDevelop and integrate APIs using SQL and backend servicesExecute against assigned user stories, owning delivery from development through testingOperate within sprint cycles, participating in sprint planning and grooming sessions (3 weeks development, 1 week testing)Deliver high-quality, scalable solutions based on defined requirementsWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
