Senior Software Engineer - Agentic AI SRE

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 5+ years of applied experience.
• We need advanced Python programming proficiency.
• We expect strong command of the full software development lifecycle, including automation and continuous delivery practices.
• We require hands-on experience delivering agentic AI to production, beyond LLM wrappers or prompt-to-workflow integrations.
• We need experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph or CrewAI, plus runtimes, orchestration, evaluation and benchmarking systems, and model selection policies.
• We require experience building production generative AI applications at scale, including experimentation, model quality measurement, retrieval-augmented generation, and vector search.
• We need solid cloud infrastructure experience, such as AWS, and infrastructure-as-code experience, such as Terraform.
• We require experience building distributed or high-scale systems where reliability is critical.
• Preferred experience includes work in infrastructure, platform engineering, or reliability engineering domains.
• Preferred knowledge includes SRE concepts such as SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, incident management, resilience patterns, and observability.
• Preferred background includes prior work as a machine learning software engineer in a fast-moving technology company or startup.

• We design and develop enterprise AI systems that improve engineering productivity, system reliability, and operational excellence.
• We architect autonomous agents that reason, analyze, and act across system and application reliability.
• We design and govern agentic system components, including orchestration, memory or state management, workflow control, and human-in-the-loop patterns where needed.
• We own end-to-end non-functional requirements for the agentic architecture, including observability, security, guardrails, and evaluation.
• We provision and manage scalable AI infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and cost optimization.
• We deliver creative software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to strengthen application and system stability.
• We lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical credibility, and fit with existing systems and information architecture.
