Position Summary

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving products throughout the warehouse using approved equipment. This role also ensures accurate inventory management, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and supports overall warehouse and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a pallet jack to move pallets throughout designated work areas and perform related tasks as assigned.
• Operate, change over, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on palletizing equipment.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of warehouse equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and audits as required.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following established safety standards and procedures.
• Use scanning equipment to accurately track and maintain inventory within the facility.
• Follow standard work policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate with forklift drivers to maintain production flow and identify opportunities to improve warehouse operations.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure warehouse standards are consistently upheld.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and place inventory weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack as required.
• Strong situational awareness and attention to safety, particularly when working around warehouse equipment and robotic forklifts.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, equipment-intensive warehouse environment.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment & Safety

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires working in close proximity to warehouse equipment, including robotic forklifts. Employees must maintain a high level of situational awareness and consistently follow all safety procedures and established operating standards.
