Overview Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Waxahachie, Texas. Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day) Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients requiring rehabilitation services. This includes providing direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation. The PT establishes and administers a treatment program with specific goals based on the patient’s capacity and tolerance under physician direction, sets realistic and achievable goals, documents and records the patient’s condition, and educates patients and families about appropriate physical therapy methods.
