We're looking for a PIT Compliance Specialist to join our team in Durham, NC. What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain PIT safety programs, policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives
• Partner with operational leaders to create, administer, and improve PIT training and certification programs
• Conduct routine audits and observations of PIT operations to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations
• Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and operational risks and implement corrective actions
• Issue, track, and maintain PIT certifications, licenses, and expiration records
• Investigate PIT-related incidents and near misses and support root cause analysis and corrective action plans
• Facilitate safety meetings, workshops, and training sessions focused on PIT operations and warehouse safety
• Analyze operational and compliance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with warehouse, fulfillment, and operations teams to improve safety performance and operational effectiveness
• Support continuous improvement projects and warehouse safety initiatives

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in safety, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, safety compliance, continuous improvement, or a related field
• Experience supporting PIT operations, training programs, or safety initiatives preferred
• Experience working within an ISO-certified environment preferred
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, fulfillment, and logistics processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Smartsheet, and Management Information Systems (MIS)
• Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
