PRN Speech-Language Therapist - SLP

Speech Therapist (PRN) – Nursing Home Setting We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for residents Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders Provide therapy sessions to residents to improve speech clarity, language skills, and swallowing safety Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and family members to coordinate care and ensure optimal outcomes Document resident progress and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with facility policies Stay current with best practices and evidence-based approaches in speech therapy Skills and Qualifications: Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Proven experience working with elderly populations in nursing home or long-term care settings preferred Strong assessment and treatment planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Flexibility to work PRN hours as needed Join our dedicated team committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our residents.
