Contract | Days | Rotating schedule of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts (two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts per week) | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule | Holiday and on-call shifts required as scheduled | On-call: 4 calls per 6-week period with a 1-hour response time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting throughout the full perioperative process
• Maintain patient safety and clinical standards in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage — 4 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Fulfill on-call obligations as assigned, with a 1-hour response time requirement
• Participate in holiday coverage as scheduled
• Float within scope of practice as needed — travelers are first to float, with no restrictions or special requests

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• BLS certification required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (permanent address) to be eligible — locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless the posting specifically states otherwise
• Must be comfortable floating within scope with no scheduling restrictions
• Compliance documentation must be submitted no later than 5 days prior to start date
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Operating Room RN experience preferred; first-time travelers are accepted
• ACLS or PALS certification (AHA only) is a plus
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor) may be required as part of compliance onboarding
• Familiarity with travel contract compliance processes and onboarding requirements
