Simons Hall Johnston PC is a boutique law firm with offices in Reno and Yerington, NV. We are currently seeking a full-time Paralegal/Legal Assistant for our Reno office.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of legal experience, be highly organized, meticulous, and possess the ability to follow multi-level instructions.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Litigation
• Discovery process
• Document production
• Performing court filings
• Calendaring
• Microsoft suite of applications (word, excel, power point, etc.)

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Labor & Employment
• Various agency filing
• Adobe

The firm takes a collaborative approach and prides itself on promoting a balanced lifestyle and supportive culture, while providing the highest level of client services across a broad spectrum of areas of law. The firm does not impose any billing minimums for Paralegals/Legal Assistants. The compensation provided is commensurate with the individuals experience.

In addition to competitive compensation, the firm pays 100% of the full-time employee’s health premiums (medical, dental, and vision), short-term disability coverage, and life insurance. The firm also offers a 401(k) plan after 12 months of employment with a percentage of salary matching for those that participate. Some of the additional benefits are paid vacation, sick leave, as well as discretionary year-end bonuses. There are additional ancillary benefits available for employees to purchase at group rates should they desire additional coverages such as long-term disability, accident insurance, etc.
