This temporary opportunity is based at an early childhood center and involves working with a welcoming, collaborative team for a 12-week maternity leave coverage. The role calls for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver in-person therapy and support services to children in a school setting.

What you'll bring:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in a school environment supporting children with speech and language needs is valued
• Thorough understanding of implementing IEP goals and compliance with state/federal special education regulations
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities, with a commitment to engaging families, teachers, and other school staff
• Availability to work onsite to best serve the developmental needs of a very young student population

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in individualized education plans
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to ensure a supportive learning environment
• Offer expertise and resources to help staff implement language-rich classroom practices
• Maintain detailed records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
