The homeowner has two cats that are an important part of the family. The homeowner works remotely most days and has occasional travel for work. With a busy schedule, the household is seeking a dependable partner to help manage day-to-day tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where organization, flexibility, and independent problem-solving are key. The goal is to cultivate a home that feels intentional, calm, and well-maintained, with someone who takes pride in keeping things in order and freeing up space for more meaningful time.Who You Are / What We're Looking For:We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable taking the lead in managing day-to-day tasks with minimal oversight. You should be someone who enjoys "managing up" and can actively engage with the homeowner to ensure that expectations are aligned. You'll be focused on getting on the same page upfront, with a clear understanding of how to prioritize and execute tasks, following the approach of "show one, do one." Strong communication is key, as regular check-ins will help keep everything on track. We want someone who's invested in making the household run smoothly from the start and who is open to feedback as things evolve. Ideally, you have experience with meal planning and prep, household organization, and vendor coordination. You must be tech-savvy and comfortable around cats. Above all, we need someone who is adaptable, reliable, and ready to step in and make an impact right away.Key Responsibilities:Household Organization & Maintenance:Create, maintain and improve existing household organization systemsDaily home resets, including light tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuuming high-traffic areas)Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offsManage garage sale items and assist in selling items online (e.g., Marketplace, eBay)Indoor plant careChange batteries, light bulbs, smoke detectors, etc. (as needed)Deep Cleaning & Special Projects:Help collaborate and find a system to put instruments in their right homeOrganizational projects as they come up, with a continual layer of reassessing and refining the systemInventory & Errands:Restock pantry, fridge, and household suppliesManage grocery delivery systemManage household orders and subscriptions (Amazon)Assist with dry cleaning (drop-off, pick-up, inventory management)Handle package deliveries, mail sorting, and junk mailBreakdown boxes and manage household returnsMeal Planning & Prep:Prepare 3-4 dinner options per week, focusing on simple protein/carb/veggie combinationsPrepare fruits and vegetables for consumptionPerform grocery shoppingKitchen cleanup and maintenanceLaundry & Linen Care:Full ownership of laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizingOccasional ironingLinen rotation every 2 weeksMaintain a tidy and well-stocked laundry areaPet Care:Litter box cleaning (replace the bag weekly, and a deep clean every 3 months)Vet scheduling on occasionMaintain pet suppliesVehicle Management:Schedule maintenance on occasionFueling, cleaning, and organizing vehiclesTrack registration and insuranceVendor & Property Oversight:Oversee contractors, landscapers, and cleanersResearch quotes and schedule repairs when neededHelp with vendor and contractor support for a future backyard redesignOversee HVAC filtersAdministrative & Personal Assistant Support:Basic calendar coordination and receipt trackingHow to Apply:Please submit the following:A brief introductory letterAn updated resumeThree professional references with contact informationThis role requires a background check.
