Job Overview:
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents for business and real estate transactions.
* Counsel clients on estate planning and probate matters, including the preparation of wills, trusts, and related documents.
* Represent clients in legal proceedings related to estate and business disputes, if needed.
* Collaborate with senior attorneys and independently manage client cases, ensuring excellent client communication and service.
* Conduct legal research, prepare briefs, and stay updated on relevant changes in Nebraska law. Requirements: * A minimum of 2 years of experience in business, real estate, estate planning, or probate law is preferred.
* Active law license in the state of Nebraska or the ability to obtain admission within 90 days of hire.
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Education: * Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: * An active member in good standing of the Nebraska State Bar or eligibility for admission within 90 days. Skills: * Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw.
* Expertise in drafting legal documents and providing legal advice in the areas of business, real estate, and estate planning.
* Ability to exercise independent judgment and handle complex legal matters with minimal supervision.
