Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate in Raleigh, NC, with 2-4 years of experience to support a growing docket of AI-focused advisory, regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters. This role emphasizes regulatory and advisory work and corporate transactions, offering early responsibility and exposure to cutting-edge issues at the intersection of AI, regulation, and business. Duties Advise clients on AI governance, regulatory compliance, and risk. Monitor and analyze developments in AI law and regulation. Support AI-related corporate and technology transactions. Develop expertise on AI issues in corporate transactions. Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, and memoranda. Support fact development, discovery, and case strategy. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Requirements J.D. with strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school. 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably at a top-tier firm. Experience in regulatory/advisory, corporate transactional, or litigation matters. Excellent legal writing and analytical skills. Strong judgment and attention to detail. Interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technology. Admission (or eligibility for admission) in the relevant jurisdiction. Education JDCertifications Admission in the bar for the jurisdiction in which you are applying Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
