Occupational Therapist II - Outpatient Pediatrics - $4,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Job Summary We are seeking an Occupational Therapist II to provide comprehensive pediatric rehabilitation services, primarily focusing on children while occasionally floating to adult acute care. The position is salaried and supplemented with rural pay of $2.50 per hour. Therapists treat patients one‑on‑one in 45‑minute sessions, aiming to improve mobility, independence, and overall functional abilities. Essential Job Functions Evaluates and treats all diagnoses and more complex patients. Conducts thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans. Administers therapeutic exercises and other occupational therapy interventions to improve patients’ strength, flexibility, and range of motion. Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and self‑management techniques to improve recovery outcomes. Collaborates with other team members in developing and implementing discharge plans and recommendations for continued care. Monitors and documents patients’ progress, treatment outcomes, and responses to interventions so that treatment plans can be adjusted as needed. Collaborates on teams from different departments to ensure coordinated patient care and holistic treatment outcomes. Assists with orientation and training of new staff, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to improve the performance and skill of co‑workers. Performs other duties as assigned.
