Naval Architect

Seeking licensed Professional Engineers (PE) with expertise in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, the full-time remote position will lead the technical design, development, and integration of commercial and governmental marine vessels while ensuring regulatory compliance and driving engineering excellence. Key responsibilities Assume total technical responsibility and quality control for specific Ship Work Breakdown Structure (SWBS) groupings Review, verify, and stamp design packages for classification societies and flag state authorities Coordinate with other SWBS leads to ensure proper integration of systems and compliance with regulatory standards Required qualifications B.S. or M.S. in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program Active Professional Engineer (PE) License in Naval Architecture or a related field 5-20+ years of progressive maritime or heavy industrial engineering experience Proficiency with industry-standard 2D/3D CAD and CAE/FEA software suites Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
