Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a clinic-based setting, where your passion for helping children and individuals with developmental disabilities will make a meaningful difference. As an essential member of our behavioral health team, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change. - Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, behaviors, and skill acquisition to inform treatment adjustments.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, communication, and social skills development.
- Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching new skills using evidence-based strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation, treatment records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and update personalized care plans that align with each client’s goals.
- Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages learning, independence, and emotional well-being.
- Ensure all interactions adhere to confidentiality standards and respect client rights as outlined by HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions related to behavioral health, medical terminology, behavior management techniques, and special education practices.
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support consistent implementation of interventions.
- Prior experience working directly with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to collect data accurately and utilize it to guide treatment decisions.
- Strong teaching skills combined with patience and compassion are vital for success in this role.
- Previous experience working within special education or behavioral health settings will be considered a plus.
