Barista Job ID: 300797 Location: Marietta, GA 30060 Job Type: Regular Job Summary Provides customers with prompt service, quality beverages, and products while maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Contributes to the unit's success by delivering high-quality customer service. Responsibilities Follow university and store operating policies and procedures. Provide quality beverages and food products according to standard recipes or as requested. Engage with customers and respond to customer needs by delivering legendary customer service. Anticipate customer and store needs by evaluating environment and customer cues. Communicate information to manager. Assist with new employee training. Follow FIFO methods and adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. On‑job training provided. Preferred Qualifications ServSafe certified. Undergraduate or advanced degree in a related field. Previous experience as a barista in a fast‑food establishment. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is $14.00 to $15.00 per hour, based on relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Learn quickly and follow oral and written instructions; seek clarification when needed. Available for flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and nights. Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, problem‑solving, independent judgment, organization, communication, time management, and presentation skills. Integrity and honesty in line with the university values. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications. Strong attention to detail and follow‑up skills.
