Plant Operator

Job Summary Responsible for the safe and efficient operations and general maintenance of all plant assets. Ensure equipment functions effectively and efficiently, is properly maintained and operates safely within design limitations. Shift work is required. Responsibilities Operate the natural gas processing plant with minimal supervision. Recognize major plant upsets and respond to the same in a safe and proper manner. Monitor pressure levels, gauges and product flows. Adjust plant conditions. Operate pumps, heat exchangers, compressors, and other equipment as needed. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Three to five years of plant operator experience. Experience in oil and gas preferred. Ability to work alone on a shift schedule. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Proficient with Mustang designated standards. Good crisis management skills. Strong multi-tasking skills. Results-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work. Forward-thinking with the ability to think creatively and help develop recommended solutions.
