Join Our Behavioral Health Team

Greater Valley Health Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicatedSchool Based Outpatient Therapistto provide behavioral health services to students within a school setting. This position works closely with students, families, school staff, and healthcare providers to support mental wellness, emotional regulation, crisis intervention, and long-term therapeutic success.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed therapist or licensure candidate who is passionate about working with children and adolescents in a collaborative, integrated care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy for children and adolescents
• Conduct mental health assessments, screenings, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention
• Deliver evidence-based behavioral health services in a school-based setting
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, primary care providers, and behavioral health professionals
• Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and care coordination
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support students experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and social-emotional concerns
• Provide referrals and coordinate integrated care services as needed
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and Montana licensing requirement

Qualifications

• Master's degree in:
  • Clinical Social Work
  • Professional Counseling
  • Psychology
  • Related Behavioral Health Field
• Montana licensure or licensure candidacy as:
  • LCPC/PCLC
  • LCSW/SWLC
• CPR Certification (training available through GVHC)
• Preferred:
  • Experience in mental health, counseling, or clinical settings
  • Experience working with youth, adolescents, or in schools
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis response, and integrated behavioral health
