Description

Job Summary: Responsible for transporting tomato trailers from the yard to the unloading stations.

Essential Function:

• Transporting trailers safely from one area to another as directed by supervisor and management.
• Follow the dumping order list that is supplied by the yard coordinator.
• Perform simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, checking fluids, and reporting any vehicle issues to the proper supervisor.
• Keep work area clean by picking up tomatoes and sweeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Requires the ability to follow verbal and written commands, work with others, and the ability to coordinate production with peers.
• Requires the ability to work any shift.
• Must be able to climb on and off truck several times hourly during a 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to use both hands and arms in full range of motion.
• Some pulling and pushing along with some twisting will be required.
• Must be able to work with some chemicals.
• Must have good hand and eye coordination skills.
• Must be able to work around moving equipment.
• Must be able to drive motorized vehicle.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Driver's License is required with a DMV Printout.

Experience:

No experience needed
