About the Role Engage clients and prospects in client financial review(s) and business financial reviews to provide solutions and uncover additional financial needs. Make recommendations and follow through on commitments to clients. Maintain direct contact with external and internal clients, delivering outstanding service in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards. Serve as the primary associate in the branch to open new deposit accounts and originate consumer loans. Actively build and maintain a loan and deposit portfolio. Educate customers about the availability of services from internal partners such as Treasury Management services. Perform proactive outbound phone calls to current and prospective consumer and small business customers. Partner with the branch Manager for outbound business development meetings in the community. Develop a pipeline of prospects from in‑branch and outbound activities. Independently support and resolve client issues with digital products and services. Support community initiatives, including events during and after business hours, weekends, volunteerism, and community sponsorships. Support community events and sponsorships beyond standard business hours and weekends. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (required). At least 2 years of banking and/or demonstrated sales experience. At least 2 years of developing current and new client relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources in a banking or retail environment with client service and cash handling experience. At least 2 years in a lending function with loan origination and processing functions. In-depth knowledge of Consumer and Business products and services. Proficiency in consumer and business lending, including basic business lending skills. Ability to understand cash flow, financial statements, and market risk. Desire and ability to build technology skills across various delivery channels (online banking platforms, Bill Pay, E-Statements, mobile banking, ATM, and business banking applications). Experience acting as a Bank MLO for open‑end transactions (home equity lines of credit) is required; registration under SAFE Act is mandatory. Closed‑end MLO activities are not authorized for this position. Primary Location 7480 El Camino Real, Atascadero, CA 93422. Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s). Pay Range $18.00 - $26.00 per hour. Pay rate depends on job‑related qualifications and experience. Performance‑based incentive compensation may be available.
