Job Summary The Material Handler II is responsible for moving materials within a warehouse or storage facility using hand trucks, Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), and hand-held scanning devices. They should have knowledge of commonly-used inventory practices and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform their job functions. This position may require a high school diploma and typically reports to a supervisor or manager while working under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. It may also require 1-3 years of general work experience. Duties/Responsibilities Swiftly move materials between workstations and inventory using pallet jacks, carts and Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) Accurately perform systematic inventory transactions using a computer or handheld device Maintain cleanliness in the work area and ensure equipment and machinery remain clean throughout the shift Execute any other assigned duties promptly and effectively Required Skills/Abilities Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) experience Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, occasionally stressful environments Precise adherence to written and verbal directives Flexibility to adjust to production requirements Education And Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting at a workstation Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times Shift Shift: M-F 7:30am - 4pm #J-18808-Ljbffr FilterEasy
