Reports to: Director, Business Development APAC  

Location: Guangdong or Shanghai Area, China

The Commercial Programs Manager - APAC is responsible for leading customer opportunities from qualification through production launch while serving as the primary commercial liaison between customers and internal stakeholders. The role supports customer opportunities and commercial programs throughout the APAC region, ensuring successful commercialization, execution, and long-term customer growth.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage customer opportunities from RFQ through production launch

· Coordinate customer communications and commercial program activities

· Support costing development, quotation preparation, and opportunity conversion

· Drive program execution through coordination with engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain teams

· Manage project timing, deliverables, risks, and escalation activities

· Support forecasting, opportunity qualification, and business planning initiatives

· Lead launch readiness reviews and implementation activities

· Support product transfer, manufacturing relocation, and strategic implementation initiatives

· Develop and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders

· Support commercial negotiations and strategic account development activities as required

Areas of Focus

Commercial Growth Initiatives - 35%

· Drive growth within existing customer accounts through proactive customer engagement and opportunity development

· Support strategic customer initiatives that strengthen long-term partnerships and revenue growth

· Identify opportunities for product expansion, program transfers, and commercialization activities across APAC

· Actively support implementation of regional growth initiatives and customer development programs

Program & Opportunity Management - 25%

· Lead customer opportunities from RFQ through production launch

· Manage project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination activities

· Ensure opportunities are effectively commercialized and transitioned into production

· Drive accountability across internal teams to meet customer and business objectives

Customer Relationship Management - 25%

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders

· Conduct customer program reviews and business updates

· Support customer satisfaction, retention, and account development activities

· Act as a trusted commercial representative throughout the customer lifecycle

Forecasting & Business Planning - 15%

· Support forecasting, demand planning, and opportunity assessment activities

· Maintain visibility of customer requirements and pipeline performance

· Assist with business planning, reporting, and commercial performance reviews

· Support strategic decision-making through effective data analysis and forecasting

Minimum Educational Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Marketing, or related field

Minimum Experience, Skills and Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years experience in Business Development, Program Management, Account Management, Commercial Operations, or related customer-facing roles

· Automotive, industrial manufacturing, engineered products, or related industry experience 

· Fluent in English and Mandarin

· Strong ERP, CRM, Excel, and project management skills

· Experience working within international and multicultural business environments
